Introductions

Hi! My name is Kate, and I’m a freelance writer with an MFA in Creative Writing. In the last dozen years, I’ve lived at eight addresses in five states and worn many hats, from marketing coordinator at a regional hospital in South Dakota to cake decorator at a grocery store bakery in Illinois. I currently live in Florida with my husband, young children, and puppy, all of whom take turns being well-behaved.

When I’m not writing, I enjoy reading, running, and volunteering at my kids’ school library, keeping as many books on the shelves as possible.

Over the last year, I wrote a novel. Earlier this month, I signed with a literary agent. Follow along to hear more about what I’m writing, what I’m reading, and moments between.
